- Single County Check – a criminal record check is performed at the applicant’s local county courthouse.
- TRUSST (Tracking Residency Using Social Security Trace) – applicant’s SSN is verified against TransUnion and a list of all counties the applicant has resided in is pulled. Unlimited county criminal searches are performed for the last seven years of addresses where the applicant has lived.
- County Civil Record Search - Judgments, liens, and pending civil suits—such as bankruptcy or child support obligations—are uncovered in an TAMCOR civil record search. Providing a personal snapshot of an applicant’s legal obligations, this service helps you gauge how these obligations might affect job performance.
- Federal Criminal Record Search - Accessed via one or more of the 94 U.S. Federal District Courthouses nationwide, a search will be conducted for crimes involving violations of federal law. Federal criminal record searches are conducted at the specific U.S. District Court covering the region where an applicant has resided.
- Federal Civil Record Search - Civil record checks on the federal level are also available. Searched by district, TAMCOR provides full detail on civil cases filed at applicable U.S. District Courts.
- Criminal records search at the state level.
- Searches for all felonies & misdemeanors. All county courthouses report into the State courthouse. Special restrictions apply to statewide checks, please ask your TAMCOR agent for more details.
- TAMCOR’s national criminal record database contains more than 180 million criminal record files. Information in this national criminal record file is purchased and compiled from a variety of sources, including local law enforcement, statewide criminal record repositories, State Department of Correction records, state parole and probation records, local public records sources, etc.
- The national criminal file, therefore, may uncover criminal history information in multiple states/jurisdictions where the applicant has had no previous address history.
Note: TAMCOR recommends that the national criminal file search only be used in conjunction with a physical/real time search of the local county or federal court records.
